Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing exclusively in hair restoration surgery for both men and women since 2003. His centers offer both surgical and non-surgical options to treat hair loss. He was the first in Georgia to perform ARTAS® robotic hair restoration in 2013, and now trains other physicians on the technology. Many patients fly in to Atlanta to be seen by Dr. Anderson; we have treated patients from 29 countries. He is a 4-time Castle Connolly Top Doctor, and won the “Best Hair Restoration in Atlanta” award 4 years in a row.
Dr. Bauman is a full-time, board-certified Hair Restoration Physician who has dedicated his over twenty-year career exclusively to helping men and women medically maintain, enhance and restore their hair. Saretta Bowerman is a master stylist and makeup artist in Naples, FL, where she opened her Blue Water Salon three years ago. She specializes in extension services color, cut and balayage. Earlier this year, Saretta’s exceptional bridal styling and braids earned her grand prize honors in the Braids & Brides contest by Modern Salon, which also named her part of its 2017 Artist Collective and the 2017 Modern Salon 100, a curated list of top social media beauty influencers.
Christine DiBenedetto is Big Life, Thin Hair’s founder, has been a stylist for over 20 years and is co-owner of Wink, a successful salon in Asheville, NC with a mission to create, educate, elevate and love. Her studies in sociology and anthropology lead, naturally, to becoming a platform artist, award-winning, burlesque performer and business owner. Christine chose to take her personal thinning hair journey public to help other women with thin hair and stylists in need of resources. Big Life, Thin Hair is about: education, empowerment and love. Karen Gordon is the owner of J. Gordon Designs, an internationally recognized salon in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, and of Karen Gordon Hair Loss Solutions. As a Hair Color Specialist, Karen has trained with many of the world’s top colorists, is also a Certified Hair Coach and is completing certification as a Trichologist from both the International Association of Trichologists and World Trichology Association. Karen is the Vice President of Cosmetologists Chicago/America’s Beauty Show. She serves on the Board of Directors for Intercoiffure America/Canada and the International Association of Trichologists (IAT). She is also a member of the American Hair Loss Council and the Professional Beauty Association (PBA).
Trained all types of extensions including microlink and hand-tied wefts, Lindsay Binkley is the poster child for a “behind the chair” experienced educator and salon owner. Founder of Elle.b Salon and Academy, Lindsay credits her experience in hair extensions to learning slowly over long days, weeks, and years with over 10,000 hours in hair extension services. Rising popularity in the last few years, lead to creation of an apprentice program run in her two salons. That program soon became sought after by others and lead to the creation of Elle.b Academy, offering advanced education in hair extensions and other high end services to the public. Today Elle.b Salon & Academy trains not only in-house but to stylists and owners all over the country. With classes for both owners and stylists, she is dedicated to the full salon implementation of extensions and services alike. She believes that stylists are solution-makers and hair extensions a must-have solution in every tool box.
Brent Hardgrave has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has been a platform artist and educator for numerous major brands. A company’s abrupt departure from Atlanta, taking 60 of his clients with them, opened the door for Brent to expand his talents in the direction of the wonderful world of extensions. He is now a renowned extension expert. Expanding on the knowledge he gained in the first few months working with extensions, he discovered a niche and invented The Brent Brush followed shortly by a collaborative book on hair loss. Marvin S. Hausman, MD, is an Immunologist and Board-Certified Urological Surgeon with more than 30 years’ experience in both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical research and development. His life’s work was inspired by his mother’s battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, a personal experience that led him to investigate the cause of chronic disease, as opposed to merely treating the symptoms. The ultimate objective is prevention!
Dr. Nikki D. Hill, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist who is nationally recognized for the diagnosis and management of medical hair loss conditions. She opened her practice, the Skin of Culture and Hair Center (SOCAH Center) in Atlanta, GA to focus on the needs of hair loss patients and to educate them about their conditions and the best treatment options for them. Dr. Hill's practice provides medical, injectable, and surgically corrective hair loss solutions, including surgical hair transplants and scalp micropigmentation services. Dr. Hill has presented research at national and international conferences and continues to be a contributor for her peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Atlanta Association of Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons, Women’s Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.
Evie Johnson is a member of the International Association of Trichologists and on IAT’s Board of Directors. She has lectured at many of IAT’s conferences and, in 2016, was given the Marlene Hansen Award for services to Trichology. Evie features in the IAT’s recent publication ‘Hairy Tales’ which describes the lives of 57 Trichologists from 24 countries.

Debra Neill Baker is the Chairman of Neill, a family-owned company whose reputation for innovation and visionary leadership has influenced the beauty industry for decades. Awakening hairstylists to their full potential to positively impact the world has always been part of Debra’s purpose. Her own personal experience with breast cancer brought into focus ways for salons to support and provide education to their guests facing hair loss due to chemotherapy treatment. When you look better, you heal better.
Hair replacement and restoration came into focus for Jeffrey when his niece, a leukemia patient, asked for his help. In the process, he discovered his life’s mission: to serve the physical and emotional needs of individuals who have been scarred by disease, injury, and trauma. He conducts seminars and workshops for salon and spa professionals in the United States and Canada, teaching the latest techniques for hair restoration and replacement. He is the Founder of Hair Loss University, Jeffrey Paul’s Hair & Scalp Specialists as well as the Founder with his wife Zina, of Wigs for Kids - a national non-profit organization that provides custom-made Hair Replacement Systems at no cost to children losing their hair due to medical reasons. Jeffrey also is the author of two books: Women’s Hair Solutions to Thinning and Loss (for consumers) and Solutions to Women’s Hair Thinning and Loss (for professionals).
Cindy Reynolds is the founder and owner of Mermaid Hair Extensions salon in Seattle, Washington. Mermaid has been recognized as a Salon Today top 200 as one of the fastest growing salons in the country. She believes that focusing on one service is a key to creating a strong salon brand. Cindy has worked behind the chair as a stylist, educator and salon owner for over 30 years and is a proud member of Intercoiffure North America.
Declared Atlanta’s “Wigspert” by her appreciative clients, Rebecca Walden has been a hair and wig stylist for the past 17 years. She has a passion and a flair for working with women that have hair loss from chemotherapy and alopecia areata. Rebecca trained with Aveda, Redken, Goldwell, Nioxin, and Nexxus hair product companies as well as Mirabella make-up. Her company, Rebecca Walden Wigs, grew from her Wigspert of Atlanta brand and Buckhead Wig Gallery brand. Rebecca has a special understanding of women who experience the devastation of hair loss. She is a guest motivational speaker and has been featured in the AJC, Jezebel Magazine and on CNN for her work with cancer patients. Rebecca is an active board member with the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition (GaBCC.org) and Camp Strand a welcoming place for children with hair loss.
Dr. Candy is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and Trichologist dedicated to researching and applying naturopathy to the overall health of her clients. She’s recognized from appearances on the Dr. Oz Show as a leading expert in hair loss solutions, alternative and complementary medicine. A member of the International Association of Trichology (IAT), board member and curriculum developer, for The US Trichology Institute she conducts seminars certifying attendees in Trichology. Celebrating over 35 years, Dr. Candy is an Ohio, Better Business Bureau’s, Women in Business Networking’s Top 25 Business Women to Watch, operating businesses in Texas and Ohio.
Sheila Wilson has been in the industry over 35 years, is the owner of Master Design Salon & Wellness Studio in Memphis, TN, a member of Intercoiffure America/Canada and serves as the 1st Vice President and the Atelier Chair. Working with several color companies and serving on the Presidential Board for Haircolor introduced her to other passionate colorists which lead to being one of the founding members of the International Haircolor Exchange and American Board Certified Haircolorists. Her chemistry background and knowledge has opened the door to work with people experiencing hair loss/hair thinning and building the integrity of the hair pre and post chemotheraphy.
